HOW THE LAST FEW WEEKS OF LOCK DOWN BROUGHT CHANGE IN ME
I have been
spending abnormal days since a couple of weeks. I have changed along with the
change of environment. I have been staying indoors and also playing along with
in my doors of the house. There have been a few changes within me since these
weeks of lock down which I would like to share. I have been spending quite a lot
time with my family than I did in last few years. I started reading story books
which I never used to before do. I am happy that book reading has become my
hobby and I hope that I will continue reading throughout my life. All of sudden
I was willing learn to do something extra like learning vocabulary. I started
researching on a thing which I never wished to do. I have been reading a lot of
articles from which we can make at least a chronicle of hundred pages.
I thought
that this lock down will be a ridiculous piece of time for me and will waste
time during this period of time. But I am glad that a piece of paper has not been
wasted but, used by words written on it. I have been thinking about something
very deeply which I never did before. My thought process came to an end when
I finally came to a conclusion that this is nature’s revenge on us for its recovery and
nature is healing itself during this time. It is doing the same thing we did
for nature that is harming others for its selfishness. By this we can clearly say that “Nature
has had enough , now it is its chance”. We can take a contrast of ozone layer
recovery over North Pole how it has recovered during this time and how we
destroyed it before. In this period of time, my respect for doctors, sanitary
workers and all people who are working to fight against corona virus has become
intense. Last but not the least not me but, we all came to know the value of
our family. Without our family in our houses and without their support it would
be very difficult to go through a situation like this. At least now nature is warning
us and we should not get another warning. So, please be kind to nature and do
things which help nature to propagate.
Very well written Lohith. We all are struggling with this unusual situation. But to find silver lining in this and try to make most of the time is awesome.
